  • Meyerson Concert tickets:

  • Special after-school Pre-Meyerson clinic with former JJ Pearce Band Director, Peter Warshaw

    • Tuesday, April 28: 4:35 PM to 6:00 PM


  • Jazz Band: Let’s start the band back up! Here is the plan and schedule before the Spring Concert!

    • Here is the tentative schedule:

      • Wed April 22 4:30-6pm

      • Thurs April 30 4:30-6pm

      • Wed May 6 4:30-6pm

      • Wed May 13 4:30-6pm


  • SENIORS:

    • Submit the google form below to be recognized at Senior Signing Day!

    • Senior Signing Day for Fine Arts is Thursday, April 30th at 10:30 AM in the PHS Auditorium during Mustang Academy

    • CLICK HERE to submit your information for Senior Signing Day for Fine Arts at Pearce HS - you will be honored on Apr.30


  • Seniors: CLICK HERE to create a submission for a senior spotlight with the MMB!


Students who are currently enrolled in Honors Band classes, CLICK HERE as a refresher on your requirements for completing your spring semester credit!


  • Concerto Competition Prelims is Thursday May 7, 2026 here at PHS after school.

    • We will have three divisions:

      • JH division:  WW, Brass & Percussion

      • HS Non-Varsity division:  WW, Brass & Percussion in Symphonic or Wind Symphony (or freshmen in the WE)

      • HS Varsity division:  WW, Brass & Percussion in WE

    • Finals competition is Sunday, May 17th from 2:30 to 5:30 PM

    • Trophies will be awarded to the overall winners in each level and category at Finals - nine total overall winners at finals!


  • Meyerson Concert is Wed Apr.29 7:30 PM

    • Bring your concert attire to school on Meyerson Day!

    • 2:45 PM WE head to BH to load equipment truck & change into concert attire;

    • 3:45 PM depart JJP;

    • 4:45 PM arrive at Meyerson & unload truck;

    • 5:00 PM load onto stage

    • 5:30 PM sound check on stage

    • 6:15 PM WE cases instruments downstairs in Horchow Room

    • 6:25 PM WE walks two blocks to local church, to eat PABC-provided dinner off-site

    • 6:35 PM WE dinner - Chick-Fil-A

    • 7:00 PM WE return walk to Meyerson

      • 7:05 PM WS / Symphonic / Concert arrive and head to case storage

      • 7:10 PM WS heads to Grand Tier / Symphonic & Concert head to warm-up

    • 7:10 PM Wind Ensemble enters front doors of Meyerson and heads upstairs to Grand Tier

    • 7:30 PM Concert begins

      • After Symphonic Band's 1st piece... stand and head downstairs to case storage for warm-up

      • Warm-up will be downstairs in the warmup room: they have risers, chairs and stands

    • 9:30 PM: At the conclusion of the concert: Loading Crew students have 20 minutes to see their families & then head to truck

    • There is not bus transportation home, be sure a family member attends this special event.

Monday, Apr.20:  B

  • 9:00 AM WE start for winds + percussion; WEAR MARCHING CLOTHES

    • 9:10 AM FitnessGram in Band Hall: can you outlast Mr. Schayot in the pacer?

    • Yep, he will be running it with you!

  • 10:30 AM Fanfare Ensemble stay through advisory for a special event - you will return to class at 11:40 AM - CLICK HERE for student ensemble listing

  • 4:35 PM Leadership Conducting session


Tuesday Apr.21 A:

  • 7:00 AM Leadership marching skills / Front Ens

  • 8:30 AM WE start for winds + percussion;


Wednesday Apr.22 B

  • 7:00 AM Leadership conducting;

  • 8:30 AM WE start for winds + percussion;

  • 4:30 PM Jazz Band


Thursday Apr.23 : 

  • 8:30 AM: WE start for all winds + percussion who are NOT taking the Algebra I EOC - (it's basically a normal day for us... I can't find anyone in the Wind Ensemble taking Alg 1.)

  • 4:35 PM Leadership marching skills / Front Ens


Friday Apr.24 A:

  • 8:30 AM WE Special Full-Run Friday rehearsal - No advisory - we will rehearse a few important spots, and then run the 55 minute program. We will end at 10:55 AM, and have a few minutes of free time at the end.


Saturday Apr.25:

  • Prom


Sunday Apr.26:

  • 1:30 PM Muros Eagle Scout Project Recital

Monday, Apr.27:  B

  • 8:30 AM WE start for winds + percussion;

Wednesday Apr.29 B - Meyerson Day!

  • 9:00 AM WE start for winds + percussion;

  • 8:20 AM Arrival for Special Post-Meyerson Clinic with Mr. Richard Floyd on Lincolnshire Posy

    • 1967-1973: The First Head Band Director at J.J. Pearce High School

  • 10:00 AM ALL head to auditorium to sit as a band for "Senior Signing Day for Fine Arts" which occurs duing Mustang Academy

  • 10:30 AM Senior Signing Day for Fine Arts

  • 4:30 PM Jazz Band


Friday May 1 B:

  • 7:00 AM Phase One leadership auditions & Percussion leadership auditions;

  • 9:00 AM WE start for winds + percussion - bring flip folders, lyres & check out your marching instrument!

  • 9:30 AM Pass Down Pep Rally in PHS Gym


Saturday May 2:

  • New Member Marching Camp for all Leadership Candidates: Wear MMB jersey

    • 7:00am-2pm:  Teaching 8th graders marching skills - PABC will feed you lunch

    • 2:30PM to 5PM:  drumline auditions

    • 2:30 PM: Leadership hopefuls will have a Phase Two results meeting

    • Those moving on to Phase Two will audition from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.


Sunday May 3:

  • 2:00 PM MMB Senior Girls Tea
