Corpus Trip 2026 - J.J. Pearce Mighty Mustang Band
Friday April 10, 2026 through Sunday April 12, 2026
Accomodations: Port Royal Ocean Resort, Port Aransas
Rooming: Six students per room. Traditional rooming: 6 males per room, or 6 females per room.

Transportation: Charter Buses will be the mode of transport to and from Corpus Christi.
The 2026 Corpus Trip will include performances by the J.J. Pearce Bands as well as a two-night condominium stay on Mustang Island.
Here is the basic information:

Friday: load charter buses, travel and shop at a Corpus grocery store for all meals in condos. Beach sunset photos & pool time in the evening.

Saturday: performances by bands and orchestras and beach time in the afternoon.

Sunday: travel day home (return around 7pm to PHS)

Students will be back in classes on Monday, April 13.
Be advised that any money paid towards the Corpus Trip will first be applied to any outstanding fees before a “trip deposit” is officially registered with the PABC for spring travel.
This is going to be a GREAT trip… we are very much looking forward to sharing this amazing destination with all of you!
This trip is optional, and open to ALL students enrolled (and in good standing) in the Mighty Mustang Band and colorguard. There is no fundraising for this trip, it is funded by families wishing to send their student to Corpus with the J.J. Pearce High School Band!
Payment Schedule:
• $150 - Nov.11 trip deposit due (non-refundable)
• $300 - Feb.18 Tuesday (Corpus Day... pick your roommates)
• TOTAL - $450 (this is an estimated final amount. The actual total amount will be available once all deposits are received by November 11th. You can pay the deposit in person at the Nov.11 “J.J. Pearce Marching Band Indoor Extravaganza” in the PHS Auditorium Lobby.
