THIS WEEK

Friday, Oct.23: Homecoming Game & JH Night v Richardson HS

Bring MMB jersey to school for the pep rally!

  • 6:15 AM Arrival for 6:30 to 8:25 AM Marching Band on B-Field for ALL;

    • Wear the usual white shirt & black shorts / black marching shoes

    • Homecoming info for Friday:  if you are having nails done… Nails that are acceptable include skin toned nails (no colors like blue, purple, etc), regular French tips are acceptable, and no gems of any sort.

  • 7:45 AM Early Halftime run of Wild Wild West with Pacesetters due to pep rally prep - 7:50 start

  • 9:30 AM Pep Rally day at PHS Main Gym

    1:40 Instructional SLT head to band hall to prepare for JH night hosting in MAC

    • Wear MMB jersey

2:15 Instructional SLT head to MAC with your instrument & FF to host JH bands

2:45 Band staff will assign students places to stand for concert arcs

3:00 Combined rehearsal

3:30 Rehearsal ends and head to auditorium lobby with JH instrument cases

3:45 Line up JH instrument cases in PHS auditorium lobby

3:55 Instructional SLT heads to band hall to prepare for HS Gameday

  • 4:20 PM Bell rings and head to F-Hall to change into black tank etc

  • 5:15 PM Students MAY wear mums & garters to the game over their red & blues.

    • We will wear mums & garters in the stands, and will also wear them during Pacesetter tune on the field. We will remove the mums/garters near the end of the 4th quarter before we head to field level for the Alma Mater & 2026 UIL Marching Production.

  • 7:00 kickoff 

  • 9:30 PM MMB performs 2026 UIL Contest show AFTER THE GAME

  • 11:30 PM Approximate dismissal from band hall

Monday, Oct.26:

  • 7:00 AM to 8:25 AM Marching Band

  • 4:35 PM to 6:00 PM Jazz Band

  • 6:30 PM PABC Board meeting

Tuesday, Oct.27: 

  • 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM inspired performers in large ens rm;  

  • 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM marching band;

Wednesday, Oct.28:

  • PSAT Day - no morning rehearsal

  • 2:30 PM - Head to band hall for afternoon rehearsal

  • 3:00 PM to 4:10 PM - special Area Week rehearsal after testing is complete

Thursday, Oct.29:

  • 7:00 AM to 8:25 AM Marching Band;

  • 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM inspired perf; 

Friday, Oct.30: Away Game v Plano East HS at Tom Kimbrough Stadium

  • 6:35 AM to 8:25 Marching Band on B-Field for ALL;

  • 4:20 PM Bell rings and head to F-Hall to change into black tank, etc

  • 7:00 kickoff 

  • 10:45 PM Approximate dismissal from band hall

Saturday, Oct.31: AREA Marching Contest

  • 7:00 AM Possible marching band rehearsal

  • 7:00 AM Possible marching band rehearsal

Friday, Nov.6: Home game & Senior Night

  • 6:35 AM to 8:25 Marching Band on B-Field for ALL;

  • 4:20 PM Bell rings and head to F-Hall to change into black tank, etc

  • 7:00 kickoff 

  • 10:45 PM Approximate dismissal from band hall

  • 11:00 PM MMB After Party Social

Saturday, Nov.7

  • 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Possible marching band rehearsal;

  • Possible rehearsal & travel day
