• Only 14 days remain until Summer Band begins! Let's all get outside and active before 11AM for 30-60 minutes a few days each week to re-acclimate our bodies to the Texas heat : )

• Summer Band begins Wednesday July 23: 7am to 4pm

• Workout Wednesday remaining dates: July 9th & July 16th from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. All are invited to attend these fun workouts and get acclimated with your friends!

• All-Band Picnic: Friday July 18th 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bowie Elementary Pavillion

  • Flutes—Plates/napkins

  • Clarinets—Drinks

  • Saxes—Silverware/fruit

  • Trumpets—Chips

  • Mellos—Desserts

  • Trombones—Drinks

  • Tuba/Euphonium—Chips

  • Percussion—Dessert 

  • Guard—Silverware/Fruit

• All-Band Pool Party: Saturday July 26th 8pm to 10pm - the PABC has rented out the entire Heights Aquatic Center pool… just for the Pearce Band!  Pizza and soda will be provided: a small entry fee will be charged for each band student upon arrival. 

• Get your physical completed and emailed to Ms. Harrison at Kaitlin.Harrison@risd.org

• Summer Band begins Wednesday July 23: 7am to 4pm

PHYSICALS:

• UIL regulations require that each band student submit a doctor-signed physical form before July 23, 2025 Summer Band Day One. You can walk-in at any Breeze, or CareNow or NextCare for a $25 physical.  HERE is the physical form.  You can scan to pdf, or take a picture of BOTH pages of the physical as soon as they are completed. Email your completed student physicals to Mrs. Harrison at kaitlin.harrison@risd.org
