Band Registration is Saturday, July 25th. There are six forms this year that must be completed before arriving to Band registration. You are receiving invitations to the forms within Presto. Please begin submitting these forms within Presto this week, and have them all submitted before Band Registration this Saturday.
 

Let’s all get our physicals done & submitted to Mrs. Harrison this weekend, as students will not be permitted to participate in summer band on July 22 without an updated physical on file. Walk-ins are available, and most places are open 7 days a week until 8pm for Breeze & CareNow. HERE is the physical form.  You can scan to pdf (save as last first 2026 physical), or take a picture of BOTH pages of the physical as soon as they are completed. 6:45 AM is the appropriate daily arrival time for students to get organized and moving together to our practice space outdoors.
 

Students have lunch from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM to bring their lunch to eat in F-Hall, or to head off-campus briefly for lunch.
 

Rehearsal resumes promptly after lunch at 12:30 PM and ends at 4:00 PM.
 

All students should bring a filled & iced water jug. All 10th, 11th & 12th graders should bring their MMB-issued Juguzzi. 9th graders will receive their Jugguzi at band registration on Saturday July 25th.
 

Wear:  Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, tennis shoes, athletic shorts, athletic shirt. Long hair should be up, or in a ponytail so that your hair doesn’t get in your face as we workout!
 

Bring:  filled water JUG, lunch, music binder, pencil & marching instrument (we will issue additional/replacement music on Wednesday for all students)
 

Summer Band is rain or shine, since we have an indoor turf facility (MAC) at Pearce HS to use during inclement weather.
 

Band registration and uniform fitting: Saturday July 25th

• One parent/guardian is expected to attend alongside their band student through the band registration process. Parents will be paying for band fees, spiritwear, flip folders & band accessories, etc. All students will be rehearsing on July 25th from 7am to 1pm. Seniors will be dismissed for band registration at 8:50am, Juniors will be dismissed at 10:05am, and Sophomores will be dismissed at 11:50am for band registration. Students return to rehearsal once their uniform fitting and band registration is complete. Parents of freshmen are encouraged to bring their student a lunch that they can eat from 1pm to 1:15pm before starting registration.

    • Juniors : 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM

    • Sophomores : 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM

    • Freshmen : 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM
