Fly Free to NYC
This is the goal of the 2009 March-a-thon
!
This goal is within our reach. Proceeds from previous
fundraising efforts have been earmarked for the Mighty Mustang Band’s trip to
New York City and on to the stage at Carnegie Hall in March 2010.
If this year’s March-a-thon can surpass last year’s effort, there is a
great chance we can raise enough money to cover the airfare cost.
This will happen if we have maximum participation from the
band members. The PABC has set a goal for each band member to
raise $100 in March-a-thon contributions.
The 2009 March-a-thon is on Saturday, October 17th.
It will start at 10:00. The route will take the Mighty Mustang Band
past local businesses, though the J.J. Pearce neighborhood and culminate with a
concert at Mustang Field. Along the way, we will stop and play and pass the hat.
This is a wonderful opportunity for out-of-town family,
friends, neighbors and coworkers to support the Mighty Mustang Band by making a
contribution to the 2009 March-a-thon.
Keep track of donations on the March-a-Thon pledge form. Make contribution
checks out to “PABC” and send to the school with your student to be dropped
into the safe in the Band Hall. The PABC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization and any contribution may be tax-deductible.
