The JJ Pearce Mighty Mustang Band is pleased to announce that beginning in Spring 2009, corporations (and individuals) are encouraged to become sponsors of the Mighty Mustang Band.   .

Every year, the Mighty Mustang Band  begins again to 'reach for the stars'. Just stop at dawn on a fall morning and listen when you're anywhere near Pearce High School. You can hear the drums blocks away from the practice grid. Listen again and you can hear the trumpets, flutes and trombones rehearsing for another outstanding performance. Stop by the school for five minutes and watch the color guard practice throwing the heavy flags, twirling and catching, again and again. In the spring come to the school before the sun is up and youll see Mustang Band members rehearsing by sections for concert performances, including a performance at one of the worlds premier venues Carnegie Hall, New York, in Spring 2010. 

But quality like this doesn't come without a cost.  It takes hard work, dedication, and lots of time from outstanding students and dedicated band directors to have the kind of organization and honors achieved by the Mighty Mustang Band. It also takes a lot of support and time from band parents and most importantly, it takes money to have a superior music program. Even though a schools music department plays an important part in creating countless well-rounded students, the arts are typically the least supported with district funds. The JJ Pearce Band needs support for its many performances, competitions, instrument repair, uniform upkeep, music clinics, band equipment, and trips taken for performances and contests.

The Corporate Sponsorship program for the Band is a four-tiered program, with sponsorships (and benefits) available at the Bronze ($100+), Silver ($250+), Gold ($500+), and Platinum ($1000+) levels.  For a detailed description of the sponsorship tiers and benefits click here.  Regardless of the sponsor level, ALL sponsors will receive the heartfelt thanks of the Mighty Mustang Band program and an acknowledgement on our Corporate Sponsors page.  Every sponsor with a website will also have a link to their website on the Sponsors page, so that everyone who checks out the Band website will easily be able to click and go right to the website of those Sponsors that are helping the Mighty Mustang Band.

For all Band parents and students, this is a great opportunity to contact those businesses and employers in the community and ask them to help support the Mighty Mustang Band.  Remember, the Pearce Area Band Club is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation and all sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by current tax laws.
